First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to my dear sister and her husband, M, on a wonderful wedding. It was beautiful and sweet~ despite the slight drizzle at the start, the weather cleared and we had a cool day (for the poor guys that have to wear suits!) to enjoy the celebration.
Secondly, happy Valentine's Day :D to my dear Madara-chan (jk~). Had a wonderful day of chilling and getting embarrassed *ahem*, but here is Henrietta!

The makers originally made it as a boy-bear called Henry, but what boy-bear will wear a purple ribbon? It's a girl-bear now. What's so special about this bear is that you can microwave it for 2 minutes and it will explode keep warm for hours while emitting this pleasant aroma of lavender. Apparently there's a porridge flavored bear too. Thanks Shuu-chan for the present :)

So my sister got married and it's been all hectic trying to get all the last-minute little details organised while making sure nothing was left undone. Plans were made, plans were broken, plans were penciled in and scrubbed out, but in the end, everything turned out perfectly well.

The wedding was held in a small little chapel at St Jude's, and reception held at The Hills Lodge Grand Mercure. Because my sister and M had to organise it through email with the staff at that place (they were still in Singapore), no one ever got to taste-test the food, so the day before the wedding, we headed there to check out the place, and eat.

Clamp! Or pipi! Some sort of shelled seafood!

I ordered duck, which was a chef's special. Ahh, duck~ no matter who you're cooked by, you taste good in both Western and Asian cuisine~

Earl Grey tea, brewed with fresh loose leaf~

Dark chocolate tart. It was good that we ordered this, because during the wedding reception, things got so busy that by the time my sister and I hit the dessert table, this was ALL GONE!
But wait! That's not all~ That night, my auntie and uncle (relatives) came to stay overnight to attend the wedding the next day, and along with my brother-in-law (BIL) and his dad, we went to dinner at Ho-ho restaurant, Carlingford.

Duck! Oh wait, that's the next morning after the wedding. Blueberry bagel with cream cheese! I used to eat this all the time for breakfast at uni. A lot of places have blueberry bagel without the rock sugar on top. It just doesn't taste the same without the sugar... it's a must-have on any blueberry bagel.

BIL's choc chip muffin. Don't be fooled by appearances, this chocolate muffin was dry as pork crackle.

My sis' spinach ricotta cheese filo pastry. Not as cheesy as she liked, but not bad for some Gloria Jeans food before church.

On the same day after church, we headed to Passionflower at Capitol Square for some ice cream. I hardly ever go to passionflower because they are such rip-offs. Honestly, they put additional charges on the littlest things. $1 surcharge if you order tea and wanted your pot refilled with hot water. Each refill of hot water for $1!!! And due to floods in Queensland, all desserts that have banana or strawberry incurs surcharges too =_____= cheap bastards.

Then that night (still same day!), we went to another family dinner at Castle Hill RSL club at Jin Yan Asian Cuisine restaurant.

Fried tofu of some sort, I've never had this before, it's like chicken nuggets, but tofu inside...

The restaurant was actually really nicely decorated with (fake) candles on the wall and a (fake) sakura tree.

Highlight? NO red bean soup for dessert! Something different- sago corn egg soup instead, which wasn't too sweet. We were also served watermelon and orange slices~
That concludes all the meals we had when my sister and BIL were over~ they've gone back to Singapore now to enjoy their newly wedded life, but it doesn't end here. There's a ten-course dinner waiting for me next week in Singapore! =D

Yummy!
Better post something before you complain.
So here a not-so-expensive ice cream with no extra surcharge.
Food looks great, congrats again to Ivy :).
I'm not sure the porridge one exists actually - I've tried searching for it online but to no avail... Hm, though I remember one of my friends used to have one though..
Free ice cream! I don't understand why no one would give me free ice cream, haha =P THANK YOU!!
Pair bear :)
